    i got in onthe xb1 preview program

    I looked in the app again last night and under Quest I think it was, I found something to do and answered some questions.

    Smartglass beta

    The beta app coincides with the preview program, so if you don't use it and instead use the normal app, you won't be able to use the features in the current preview update that work with smartglass.

    I'm having problem forcing install of update or preview but no problem accessing the preview forum. Registration app says I'm good to go

    This is most likely a problem with a preview update. Some users have had the problem be fixed after a power cycle (unplug for 30 seconds) one or a few times.

    Another solution would be to leave the insiders program (via opting out in the preview app) and wait until your xbox gets the public update back to see if that fixed it.

    If this isn't a preview update issue I have no idea. You could try the Xbox (beta) app from the store to see if it's the app's problem.

    Then can I make the recommendation that you go into the preview app and start reporting these problems.

    After all that is what the preview is for, to make sure these issues don't happen when the update hits for the general public at large.

    Hey, Delta. The Blu-ray app update is not a preview version. It is an update that was released to the general public. To enable 3D Blu-ray playback, you need this app update combined with the system update that is currently in Preview.
