Problem uninstalling game

So i have been trying to play the original dark souls recently, however when i try to launch the game it instantly takes me back to the xbox home screen. i thought uninstalling and reinstalling the game would fix the issue, however it is not letting me
uninstall the game either. When i try to uninstall it, nothing happens and it does not even give me an error message. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Problem Uninstalling a Game? [Fixed]

If you're having trouble uninstalling a game from PC, the solution is simple.

Just hit the windows key, find the game on your recently added (or similar areas), right click on it, and hit "Uninstall". It should get rid of all of the files and allow you to reinstall. This works for broken/missing filed Games as well.

Games uninstalling

My games have completely uninstalled themselves. I am the only one with curremt access to it and clearly did not choose to do this. I would like to know why my device has done this as Im completely flustered and am considering getting rid of my Xbox and
just keeping my PS4 because now all of my current saves are gone. Not too sure I want to keep a console that deletes all my progress ON ITS OWN WITHOUT MY SAYING SO.

ya, i followed the steps and nothing happens. there have been posts on the forums similar to mine that were resolved by simply unplugging the xbox and plugging it back in. i have tried that as well and that didn't work either.

In some cases the PC can really take a longer time to sync the deleted files, friend. It is common.

But let's perform these procedures to speed up

Let's try this IP and cache cleanup, please

Type CMD in the search bar;

Right-click on the Command Prompt option;

Click on the Run as Administrator option;

From the Command Prompt screen, execute the commands described below, pressing Enter at the end of each line:

ipconfig /release <Enter>

ipconfig /renew <Enter>

ipconfig /flushdns <Enter>

ipconfig /registerdns <Enter>

nbtstat -rr <Enter>

netsh int ip reset all <Enter>

netsh winsock reset <Enter>

These commands are for resetting IP configuration and network-related caches that may be stored on your computer.

1.On the desktop, press the Windows + R keys simultaneously to open Run;

2. At run type cleanmgr and click OK to open Disk Cleanup;

3. In the Disk Cleanup window, select the C: drive (if asked) and click OK;

4. In the Disk Cleanup for Windows 10 window, select the checkboxes for the files shown and click Cleanup System Files.

5. After cleaning, check the checkboxes that are not checked again and click OK>Delete Files.

If you still haven't released it, just wait a little longer, then sync these deleted files and the space is freed up
