Problem to change the account email

Hello my name is Daniel I am the owner of the acount: Today I try changing the email address from *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** (My father account) to *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** (My own account) I try this on Xbox 360 I done all the things but when I put the passwords of the 2 respective
accounts suddenly appear an alert asking for the confirmation of a "parental" account, the account of this parental is *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** I dont know anything about this account and this inhibit to change the account email.

I dont know what I need to do for eliminate or have the password from that account because I dont have anything from it. I have all the things that approve account really is mine but I dont know how to do this, please help me I don´t want to lose
an account with more than 10 years of history.

How can I sell my xbox one account safely?

I have it linked to my main email, which also is linked to my bank account and other important stuff. I will be changing the email for the non-xbox related stuff, but can that some how still cause problems? Or would it be easier to just change my xbox accounts email to something separate so it isn't also connected to my important stuff.

I am planning on selling my xbox one, with everything including the account since I have no use for it anymore. I am selling it though offerup, or those meet up apps. I'm just a bit worried they might have access to something like my credit card somehow, or my cousins account since I am able to log into his account through the console.

This can only work if your emails are NOT hotmail, outlook or live emails as those are Microsoft email addresses. That may be the cause of your problem. You can not change TO an email that is a Microsoft email. You can change a Microsoft email to any other
non Microsoft email, though.

If you are just changing the email then it should not be a problem. My suggestion would be to use an email account that is not associated with either because you could run into a problem changing them with one being associated with another account already.

Hi first off did you verify this new email address? Also did you set it to the primary Alias. Just in case as well here is a link on how to change the email and make sure things are correct.

I fixed the problem... finally. I managed to change the password of the email linked to the parental account. I deleted the xbox live account but not the email.
