Problem subscription prepaid card

Hello,

I

bought a console Xbox one and we also bought a subscription live gold

Xbox of 6 months. When I ended to write my code, a message seems saying

that we have to pay 39.99 euros while we have already paid by buying the

prepaid card.

Why this message appears and how to solve this problem?

Gold subscription does not except prepaid cards.edit

Not sure how in 2016, you don't use debit or credit cards but that's just me.

Anyway, could someone else confirm if using prepaid VISAs work or not? You could always go to gamestop or bestbuy, use your prepaid VISA card on a subscription xbox live card. That should work. Perhaps order a digital code on amazon with your prepaid VISA. I'm pretty sure they accept it.Click to expand...

Yeah it's legit. Though more and more companies are starting to accept them. Should be able to buy a pre-paid subscription card from a store and use it though, that won't require a credit/debit card on file.

Doesn't trust banks or credit card companies. Tries to use their pre-paid cards.

I fear for this person's future when they try to buy a house with no credit. Maybe they are rich and will just buy it out right with their mattress money.

As for a solution to your problem, use your prepaid card from a company you don't trust to buy a 12-month or 3-month Xbox Live Gold card from the store.

If this is the case by a subscription card from Walmart or the xbox site. If you are buying a specific item it should allow you to use a prepaid card. The problem with subscriptions is that people would get the prepaid cards and then not add money to
them again. So they cannot be charged until funds are added, many subscription services do not allow prepaid cards because of this issue.

You can use prepaid cards for one time purchases but they will not work with subscriptions even if they have money on them. The system will not use prepaid cards for subscriptions

Prepaid cards usually do not work for subscriptions. You are buying a subscription which will be set to renew. That normally doesn't jive with prepaid cards (unless it's reloadable).

If it works for your region, you might be better off buying a prepaid code for Gold and using those cards.
