    I try to start any game from the Microsoft store and they get stuck in the sync part. I already tried uninstalling and installing again, deleting your App Data, nothing works. Any possible solution?

    Around the time you posted this thread, there was a service outage that was affecting game installations, parties, chat, etc. It should be resolved now. Give it another go!

    please make sure your pc is up to date including drivers and the Microsoft store and xbox app are both updated.

    I figured out the problem. I did not sign my own profile out of the xbox before starting the game. Even though my wife was the active profile the servers still saw my profile as being in the game on the Xbox and PC. Thanks for the help everyone.

    A Profile on Windows is the same as a Profile on Xbox LIVE. If you were to Sign-in on a Win8 or Win10 PC right now it will be your XBL Profile. Same goes the other way, if someone who started a Profile on Windows was to Sign-in
    on an Xbox it would be their Profile.

    In short, they aren't just "linked", it is one and the same.

    Do you mean the xbox app on pc as the problem relates to the pc version of the game not the xbox.
