    Hardware:

    LG GX

    LG DSN8YG (Dolby Atmos Soundbar) (via ULTRA HDMI eARC connected with TV)

    XBOX SERIES X (connected with ULTRA HDMI to TV)

    Hi Guys,

    when I got my Audio signal output of the XBOX via my Soundbar (Dolby Atmos Setting on XBOX) I got sometimes no sound anymore. I have to switch the audio output on my TV to TV signal and afterwards I switch it again to the soundbar (eARC) and it works again.

    This happens, when I change the game and my TV shows the "Fast Game respond info screen" or when the TV turns HDR mode on, also when I return from a game to the home screen.

    Summer update broke Media Remote control

    I'm having the same problem. Tried 2 different sound bars. No longer works with Sony Soundbar or Samsung Soundbar.

    Audio Crackling has made a return with the most recent update.

    Same problem, no soundbar and happens with Home Theatre, Headset or my crappy tv speakers.

    Windows 10 also has the same issue, when navigating the desktop so its not new and its not soundbars, thats ridiculous.

    This is a microsoft problem.

    Can I connect Xbox One directly to a sound bar?

    I have the EXACT same problem as the OP. Anyone has tried to plug the soundbar with optical cable xboxone to soundbar directly? I need to know before I make the purchase

    Soundbar connection problems.

    I'm also experiencing the same issue with my Wireless Headset (Turtle Beach Ear Force XP510). The optical out of the Xbox One connects to a wireless transmitter and after 15 minutes or so of watching video, the headphones turn off as though it hadn't been
    receiving any audio signal. I don't notice this issue with my other consoles. FWIW, HDMI output is disabled and I've set optical out to stereo.

    Soundbar connection problems.

    ST790 - According to LG's site others have had similar problems with this sound bar that are only solved using stereo PCM. See the "Auto Power Down keeps shutting off the soundbar" thread under
