Problem Running Skyrim on Game Pass

I am trying to let a family member play Skyrim through the XBOX Game Pass on our PC. However, it will not load the game unless I give their account administrator privileges.

It gives an error that the account does not have access to the game without those permissions.

I tested it and temporarily gave the account administrator privileges and it ran fine.

However, I don't want that account to have admin privileges. Is there a way to bypass that and let the account play the game without admin rights?

The errors I have received on two separate occasions are:

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition (PC) is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001"

"Cannot find file C:\Program files\Windowsapps\Mutable\Bethesda...\SkyrimSElauncher.exe"

I went and changed this on both EXE files found in the Windowsapps folders (SkyrimSE.exe and SkyrimSELauncher.exe), but it did not change. I'm still receiving the error.

Right click, go to properties, choose “run as administrator” on the game executable and check apply to all users. That should isolate those privileges to just the game

Well see, if they'd make more games as good as Skyrim, losing sales wouldn't be a problem. The Online Pass started with a crappy game and will continue to be used for crappy games (i.e. most of them...)

Yea...I got no idea on why this problem occurs. I play on a 360 S that I bought about 4 months ago and my Skyrim, for the most part, runs great. I've yet to have any disk read errors or problems with the game saves, but every now and again, during extended
gaming sessions, Skyrim will decide it's had enough and decide to freeze up on me. But I'm always able to reboot the console and load right back up where I left off at. Let me know if anything is found out about these issues so I can pass the info along
and maybe solve my own occasional freezing problems

I always install my games ... and have had Skyrim on the HD since Day One!

Games run smoother when they are on the HD and Skyrim is no exception.

As for it being buggy, haven't had any graphic problems and aside from the infrequent game freezes, it's working fine!

But the one thing I do suggest with any installation - clear the cache every other week or so. It helps the game run better.
