    Problem return Elite Controller


    Hi guys,

    I bought a Xbox One Elite controller in december 2016 and until recently, was very happy with it. But some problems appeared since few months : grips are not glued anymore, and the left analog stick give me wrong input -go down without i even touch it-.

    I Wanted to change it with the warranty repair, but when i register the product on the MS website, only thing proposed to me is to send me d pads and stick.

    Can you help me ? Product has been bought in december 2016 so it must still be included in the two year warranty for accessories, is'nt it ?

    How is your Elite Controller holding up?

    There's lots of YouTube videos where others are having problems with analog sticks and bumpers breaking on the Elite controller and some have had to return it multiple times. This is ridiculously bad quality control for a controller this expensive. The One S controller may be better but the standard One and Elite appear to be poorly designed and break easily.

    Elite Controller Faulty. Xbox wan'ts me to pay more for a replacement than a new controller!?!?!?!?

    I assume you have warranty on the Elite Controller, and I would check with the store you purchased it from on how the return is handled for you to get a new controller.

    warranty periods can be different per region, so it's hard to say if the controller is still within warranty or not.

    The best option you have is to contact Xbox Support via Phone (or Microsoft Support Chat) to see if they can see if warranty is still available for the controller. To contact them use

    Hello!

    Do you have an extended service or Microsoft complete warranty? If you do, it would have a two year warranty on it. Otherwise in most regions your controller would only have a 90 day warranty.

    Same problem, A button not always working on Elite series 2 controller, straight out the box. Returned it to Microsoft store, still waiting to hear back from them 1 week on.
