Problem recovering my installed game

I've just cloned my HD where my games were installed because i bought a new one, but now my xbox app (still installed on the SSD not on the new HD) cannot let me install my game (or recover the old one) on my new HD because it says that there are app from
another device (?) and i need to uninstall them, BUT i cannot uninstal them for the error 0x800700005.

i'm very disappointed about this Xbox app, a lot of troubles.

so u are telling me that i can't clone an HD with Xbox pass game on it? Because i really can't do nothing anymore with my xbox app, i can't install game on that HD nor delete the old one. The only solution that i've found is to force access on that folder
and manually delete the game, hoping that, then, windows can recognize that folder as empty and allow me to install over there.

Maybe that's a problem Windows need to solve

Well...

I couldn't force myself into the folder, in the new hd, but i could in the old one. So the only think i thought it was to remove the folder from the old hd and re-cloning the newest. So now i can install my app on the new hd.

I think that cloning hd doesn't work for the xbox app and that's something to work on.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to this thread.

You can definitely force your way into that folder, delete that title, and see if you are able to proceed to install the game regularly, however, if this does not work, then as suggested by XBF
Javier R, formatting your console would be the only other thing that we can perform on your machine.

If you can provide for us the results of this procedure, it should assist others whom encounter a similar scenario as this.

Hi Macco,

The reason why it is acting this way is you don't own the game pass games. These folders and such are locked and hidden for this reason. As Javier posted the FAQ should help with this issue.
