    Problem purchasing Xbox 360 games with GOLD


    Hello. My problem is that some of games that are available for free with GOLD subscription I can't purchase.

    I am using US store but currently live in Ukraine. And want to continue using US store.

    But some of the games when I try to purchase them just tell me that it is impossible.

    For example such games as Witcher 2, Star Wars the Force Unleashed and more.

    I already spoke to support and was told to come back if I have problems purchasing games even further but they also told me to get to you and ask if you could help me out and give access to those games that I missed because of this issue. I had my GOLD subscription
    for past 3 years so should be able to have all these games. If you could help me with the issue and assign those games to my profile I would greatly appreciate it. (those games for 360 that were available but are not purchased by me because of this issue)

    Problem with purchasing gold

    As ngocphi states, it just isn't possible to use the account funds to pay for a subscription, you would instead need to either pay online using a debit/credit card, or purchase a pre-paid card at a store that is explicitly for an Xbox Live Gold membership.

    If this is something you would like to see changed, you can head to
    Xbox Feedback     and either suggest the idea or, if it already exists as a suggestion, upvote it to show your support.

    Some games are region locked. So in order to download them, your account region has to match your physical location and you have to be in a region where the game is available. So if you continue using the US store in the Ukraine you will not be able to download
    all of the games.

    As Smwutches mentioned, if you're in the Ukraine you'll need to be using the Ukraine Xbox Store for 100% compatibility, we don't have the ability to assign or offer past promotions, so we wouldn't be able to grant your request of assigning older games that
    were in the program. If a game wasn't officially released in the region you're located in, then you may have problems obtaining the game.

    To be able to shop and use the US Xbox Store without limitations, you'd need to be physically located in the United States.

    As Smwutches mentioned, if you're in the Ukraine you'll need to be using the Ukraine Xbox Store for 100% compatibility, we don't have the ability to assign or offer past promotions, so we wouldn't be able to grant your request of assigning older games that
    were in the program. If a game wasn't officially released in the region you're located in, then you may have problems obtaining the game.

    To be able to shop and use the US Xbox Store without limitations, you'd need to be physically located in the United States.
