    Problem playing Blue ray dvd's


    This is the message that i get every time i put in a blueray dvd. What can i do to fix this problem?

    Lip-Sync issues playing DVD/BLU-RAY

    Having said that have you tried playing a non Blu-Ray dvd ? Normal dvd's still have issues.

    xbox one games do not read but other discs do

    Hi there. Xbox One Discs are Blu-Ray and use a different laser to DVD's (Xbox 360 games are also DVD's) If you have a Blu-Ray Movie to try you can see that if that doesn't work, then the Blu-Ray part of your optical drive is probably faulty.

    yes the Xbox one comes with blue-ray built in. and will play blue-rays and regular dvd's.

    are the movies on dvd, if so then looks like the blue ray diode (laser) maybe faulty, as dvd uses a seperate red diode. (all games are blue ray).

    let us know if you use dvd.

    I don't know about the entire United States, but blue-rays are approaching a very affordable price in comparison to DVDs in my area.

    xbox one not playing lord of the rings extended version dvd

    Having same issue with these discs. It seems xbox one does not like Peter Jackson. I have the Hobbit on blue ray and I have to insert and eject it 2 or 3 times to get it to play. Have this issue with other dvd/blue rays aswell but as for the extended edition
    lord of the rings dvd's it will not play any of them at all.

    you replaced the old drive, need more info on this.

    so the games are not playing and they are blue ray so this leads me to think that the blue ray diode is faulty as you CAN still play DVD's which uses a red diode.
