Problem on editing Xbox Privacy Settings on PC

I used an alternate account and created family #2. I invited my original account no problem, and made it an organizer. I then went to the family's online settings and set everything on 'everyone' and allow'. Still avocadobeard.

Edit: I just checked off the Privacy settings. I did not check the other ones, such as Windows 10 / Xbox Privacy. Will try.

I'm having this issue but for my own account. There are no parental settings or privacy settings that I can find that should restrict this. This wasn't an issue of AoEE but it is an issue on AoE2E.

EDIT/SOLUTION

I went through the other xbox apps on my PC and made sure I was signed into all of them - most importantly the Xbox Console Companion. After that I could sign into Xbox Live through AoE2E with no problem

The only suggestion I can advise you to try, is by editing your info via the Xbox app on PC. You can edit your Bio and Location as far as I can see. It might also be worth checking your privacy settings. More on that, here:

If you have received Code of Conduct warnings in the past, you *might* not be able to edit the data. Post us some updates, and hopefully, collectively, we can get you back to full editing functionality.

George, however only you as a user or your parents can change the privacy settings of an account, to do this you must go to the link: https://account.xbox.com/settings You must place all the items that appear in the list in "Allow"

In case yours is a minor account, it will not allow you to make any changes to the settings from your account, you will need to have an adult include your account in a family group from the link: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/family-onli... and then that adult can make all the changes.

Note When you grant applications permissions on a limited console, they are saved only on that console. If you use multiple consoles, make sure you grant permissions to your applications on all of them.

So, when trying to access the Marketplace in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing on a teen account using the Xbox 360, there is an error message. The error message was "You do not have sufficient Xbox Live privileges to access this feature" and the settings are
not blocked.

Does the account have issues with any other games?

I would recommend purchasing
Xbox Live Gold.
