Problem logging in to my microsoft/minecraft account

I have been tying to log in to my microsoft/minecraft account but everytime I try I log into the wrong acocunt. My microsoft account where I have minecraft is named Sten6589, but when I log in with the mail that shows under my username I log into a completely other account, named Sten6588. This is really frustrating and everytime I try to log into the minecraft account on microsoft I just log into the other account. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if the way microsoft made it is bad but please help me. I have had these problems for 2 weeks now.

Hi, Jesse. I can't remove that account as it is the primary user account on my PC. I have logged into a "Local Account" to try and fix the problem, but it has persisted. The Xbox Console Companion app is currently logged into the account that I purchased Minecraft on in 2019 so that is not the problem. I am also logged into the account that I purchased Minecraft with on the Microsoft store.

I am having the same issue. I can't log into my microsoft account In minecraft on ps4 however, I have no issue logging into my account on the xbox website and Microsoft website so what's the problem and how do I fix it?

Was the game purchased from the Microsoft Store or the Minecraft website ?

Open the Microsoft Store and the Xbox app, and log out of the account you are logged in to.

Log back into the account where you purchased the game, open the Minecraft Launcher, and see if the problem persists.

Does the Microsoft account you are trying to log into have minecraft?

According to your description, are you trying to switch accounts normally? You can try to log into your Microsoft account on Microsoft's website to test if your Microsoft account is abnormal, and then log into minecraft's website with that account to check if your profile can be opened normally, so as to test if there is some problem between your Microsoft account and logging into minecraft.
