Problem loading ME3 on XBOX One

With ME3 now available for backward compatibility on Xbox one, I installed the game looking forward to diving back in. However, after installing I'm having an issue launching the game.

The issue is that the game never fully loads. I start the game and get the initial splash screen, then the xbox sphere logo. Then the screen goes black like it is loading, then nothing. After a few moments I can hear a few sounds like the ME3 menu loading
and then a beep like the system is giving you a notification but nothing ever appears and the screen is still black. I left it sit there for ten minutes with no change.

I have tried completely un-installing and reinstalling and still get the same issue. Anyone else see anything like this? I know the disc is fine as it still works on my ancient 360.

Mass Effect 3 on XBox One Character Import not Working

For anyone who happens upon this looking for a solution to the same problem, the solution that worked was starting a game on the XBox 360, playing for long enough to create a save game (in the cloud), and then loading it up on the XBox One. Still can't
find my ME2 saves on the One, but the ME3 save works. If you don't still own a 360, I don't know what to tell you.

Loading problems

xbox one, stuck on "loading..." screen and unable to play. Both Fifa 2015 and Assassin's Creed stalled on loading. Daughter suggests taking it back and getting another system. Thoughts on this loading issue? Is this an xbox live problem again?

Having the same problem! I've been playing it quite a bit and it's been fine - two nights ago, it stopped working and started acting like you're describing.

Still having trouble.

I load up ME3, but it keeps "Checking for downloable content" and it never gets past that loading screen. It doesn't freeze, it just endlessly loads. I have all the DLC and bought the game brand new and used the online pass. Stupid EA!

I am really stumped. Every other game I've tried works absolutely fine, except ME3, which is the one I want to play.

Interessting trick. In ME3 (Mass Effect 3), XBox 360, the game keeps crashing (freezing) by entereing the weapon test room if you have had all DLC weapons. But not if you transfer the weapon packs on an USB drive and let the weapons load over USB during
the main game files are on Disk or HDD.

This trick sounds realy similar, ... well the problem at ME3 wasn't the SSHD (if right analysed) - but anyway -
