    Problem installing drivers for my xbox 360


    Hello, i am trying to installed drivers for my xbox 360 , and i received those messages when i click on solving problems, It says that the driver for my xbox 360 is not installed and that windows update in is configuration is not setup to installed those
    drivers.

    my windows 10 pc ignores my xbox one controller

    I have the same issue but with my XBOX 360 controller.

    Windows 10 doesn't recognize it since I installed the last windows update. I tried to manually install the drivers but it keeps saying: "Windows encountered a problem installing the drivers for your divice".

    Come one Microsoft?? Not even caring about your own products??

    I'm so tired of this, first Windows Mobile now this...

    Razer Onza Tournament Edition xbox 360 drivers fail to install.

    My Razer Onza Tournament Edition was working perfectly fine on windows 8.1. I upgraded to windows 10 and the device is now giving me this error:

    Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed):

    Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

    While trying to look for a solution online I tried to manually specify the xbox drivers in devicemanager, my problem then is that the
    Windows Common Controller for Window Class option is not available, after installing xbox 360 accessories for windows 7 64-bit, I still don't have a xbox driver listed under the Microsoft Manufacturer category when viewing all drivers.

    To clarify, are you referring to drivers for using an Xbox 360 controller with your Windows 10 PC?

    Hi,
    I have an Xbox 360 Slim w/250GB Storage.
    I have a working original Xbox 360 Controller (black), and its driver installation is giving me problems.
    P.S.: I do not have a "Charge & Play" Cable for the Xbox 360 Controller
    But I have a few questions,
    Q1 - Do I still require a Wireless Dongle to connect to the PC even after installing the Driver?
    Q2 - How Do I install/add it as a Driver? Apparently, my PC is not able to recognize it even after troubleshooting.
    Q3 - Will it unpair from my Xbox 360 Slim if I connect it to the PC?

    Yes i have been checking out those links some days ago, I think they are a bit outdated or just not updated, like the link that should get you to the Xbox 360 drivers link you to where i would buy Xbox one accesories instead?

    Installing, uninstalling and re-installing, And also installing the drivers from the above link in Compatability mode Windows 7 did not work for me at all.

    There does seem to be a bit of trouble with controllers lately. Which update are you blaming for the problem ?

    I'm up to date, including KB 4522355 which installed today, but both my XBOX and Logitech F310 (both XInput & DInput modes) controllers

    are still fully functional.

    - XBOX type controllers should be plug and play on Win10. Are you referring to the XBOX 360 software\driver,

    or are you trying to uninstall via Device Manager, or Programs and Features (or Apps & Features) ?

    If your controller is showing in Device Manager under XBOX 360 peripherals > XBOX 360 controller for Windows, you may want to try

    using Device Manager to reinstall the driver (if this is not one of the tricks you tried already).

    R/click on XBOX 360 controller for Windows and select Update Driver

    Select the option Browse My Computer For Driver > Let Me Pick....Install (overwriting the current driver) the most recent driver from the list. Mine is 10.0.18362.1 - March 2019

    (I assume this version was installed by Windows Updates, as I haven't installed any XBOX software since before upgrading from Win7 > 10 )
