problem installing disk and staying installed

ive had problems installing my forza 5 disk with being connected to wifi. so I disconnected and it would install but when I go to connect back to the internet I would have to update forza. when I updated it it sent me back in a circle and paused and would
not continue to install or update. so I uninstalled and tried all over. I thought maybe it was my internet connecting so I bought a booster and placed it closer to my xbox one than my router which is across the house. now I have full bars and 100% internet
strength but still unable to install while connected. any ideas? should I get another xbox one? is it the game that has the problem installing?

Game freezing

I've got this problem where every time I try to fast travel the game freezes and stops working.
I've tried trading disks with a friend and it was the same, he played fine with my copy and I couldn't with his.
This led me to believe the problem was with the installation, so I uninstalled from the drive and re-installed with his copy.
The problem stayed the same, still no fast travel for me
Any ideas for fixing this problem?

Xbox One Install Times?

Ok so I've had my Xbox One since launch, yet recently I have been having a huge problem, when I buy a game and pop in the disk it starts to install... And then two hours later it is still installing. My games now install at about the same speed as they download from the Internet (which is to say not very fast). I don't really understand why they are taking so long to install from disk?

Can anyone help?, it's damn annoying buying a game and then having to wait half a day for it to install afterwards.

I had this same problem with a used copy of Forza 5. Would install to 39% and allow me to play only the 1st 4 races. Would then say Forza required more installation but I could continue playing but wouldn't let me leave the end of the 4th race. I tried
all the tips online to no avail (hard reset, uninstall & reinstall, disconnecting network [both wired & wireless], etc). I also had install issues with Dead Rising 3 (took nearly 6 hours to full install & download a 13GB UPDATE!!!! I eventually tried downloading
the game from Xbox Marketplace. That worked finally but required nearly 24 hours to download & install!!! Can't figure out why a "cutting edge next gen console" takes FOREVER to install. PC games take 10-20 minutes to fully install but this takes 24 hours.

Wow I understand some on here may be 12 but... No I didn't try to play the game with the disk out... I just took the game out while I played another game to let the game finish installing.

I was just explaining the disk does not need to stay in to continue the install once it says ready to install.

Of course the disk needs to be in to play. But once the game gets to 51% and says ready to install, or ready to play that just means it has saved all of the required files for the install and will continue installing while you play. That was the issue I
was having as parts of the game were not installed yet. Once the game fully installed I haven't had any issues booting back to dashboard.

IB said the disk needs to stay in to install, that is not the case. I even talked to Microsoft about it. They said once it says ready to install it has all of the required files to perform the install and the disk can be removed. I tested it and took the
disk out, and watched the game in my games and apps and it continued to install just fine.

So it seems that if you installed the game disk before you installed the Texture Pack, it messes up. I uninstalled the texture pack and uninstalled the multiplayer disk. I then installed the texture pack and then installed the disk. While installing the
texture pack, there were no hiccups. The download did not stop, it flawlessly downloaded. I then installed the multiplayer disk back on my system. It seems this fixed the problem.

Try install black ops disk if it installs100% fine the disk isn't the problem. Try borrowing a disk from a friend if it can't be installed. Then clear system cache thats all I can suggest on this problem. Hope it helps

OK I tried the thing about clear per. storage, unplug, blah blah.. Now I got it to go from saying insert disk to install disk but still nothing happens.. Just stays at install disk.. Really peed off about it.. Was soo looking forward to playing it... It
seems to me it can read the disk but just wont for some reason.. Real BS...
