    Hello, I got an xbox live account from a few years now. Only recently I passed to gold , buying a code from internet of 13 months subscription.

    I never had any problem playing online, but when I tryed to download this mont free game for gold members it gave me this error:

    This content is not available for consoles in your region.

    I check in the forum, checked my region and find out that when I did my xbox live account, for some stupid reason I put that i lived in USA.

    I actually live from 10 years in Spain, so I changed it in my microsoft account following the steps that I found in the forum. It has been more than 3 days since and it still giving me the same error.

    If I go in setting in my Xbox and look at billing informations, it still give me the old address and i can change it from there.

    I disconnect and reconnect to my profile with my xbox, and still the same.

    I tryed to download the game from my pc entering xbox live, in here my new address informations are right, but still give me the same error.

    Last detail, in my microsoft account, in home says this

    Xbox LIVE Subscription Transfer

    Switch Region Offer

    What does it mean?

    And How can I put it right to enjoy my gold membership?

    Thank you, I''l wait for an answer, hopefully befor of the 15 of this month to manage to download Sleeping dogs while is still for free.

    Your LIVE region is mismatching your physical region. I've had the same exact problem, because my account is set to USA while I live in Saudi Arabia. I've tried redeeming a 1 month Gold membership on my Saudi Arabian account (another account), and it downloaded
    it with no problems.

    Does your account region match your physical location? Usually when a download stops at 99% it's a location problem. If your account region and physical location don't match you will have issues downloading content. Some content is region locked and can
    only be downloaded in the region's it's available.

    If the content is meant to be available in your region, then try downloading it from your console. If it was not meant to be in your region then there is nothing you can do.

    You may have gotten lucky on some content, but you shouldn't be able to download any content that is region locked. The marketplace on your console will show you exactly what is available for you to download. If you can't find the game there, then it means
    it's not available in your region.
