    Problem displaying in 1080p resolution

I've played with my console ans this tv for the past 2 years without any problems, until last week.

The screen of my console take half or 2/3 of my tv screen, instead taking all of it. I checked the display settings on my console and it was on "640x480" mode instead of 1080p, so I tried to change it but as soon as I click on 1080p, the screen starts freezing
with sort of a green halo. I also tried 1440p and 720p but none of them worked.

Here is a list of things that I've done :

    -I tried another HDMI cable

-Reset the settings on my TV

-Tried other HDMI ports on my TV

    -Did a power cycle

-Did a soft factory reset of my console (Kept my games etc)

    But none of them worked...

Please give me your opinion and if you have some solutions !

    :)

yeah I tried with and without YCC 4:2:2, 50Hz and 24Hz and it's not working.

Maybe it's inside my xbox and can't be fixed ? It would be strange because the "green screen" appeared when I reconnected the HDMI on my xbox

    That's so strange.

And I assume you have tried disabling YCC 4:2:2, and unticking the 50Hz, and 24hz options?

If not, please try this, then try selecting 720p or 1080p again, and let me know what happens.

I can change the resolution out of 640x480 but if I choose 720p, 1440p or 1080p the green screen start again.

I tried using another device (laptop, xbox 360) with the same HDMI cable and they are displayed in 1080p perfectly. As soon as I reconnect the HDMI cable on my xbox one the screen shrinks in 640x480

May I ask what TV (Including Model Number) you are using, and also details of what Advanced Display settings you are currently using on your Xbox?

An explanation of Advanced settings can be found here:

    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox...lay-settings#2257bfb0e1154fa290c1e3025ba34f44

I'd be interested to know if there's any settings here that might be related to your problem.

The other possible cause is there might have been an accidental aspect ratio adjustment on your TV's settings. There is often a shortcut button on a TV's remote that changes this and is easily changed by accident.

Also, The Sony remote control's Aspect ratio button should have the symbol shown in the following link.
