    Problem connecting my headset to the xbox one control after updating the joystick


    Since Monday i have the Same Problem. The controller doesnt recognize any headset i put in. hardbooting and resetting the xbox - Problem still there. New controller (firmware 3.1.1221.0 - no new update available) - Problem still There. Changing the headset
    - Problem still There. Ich checked the settings of privacy too.... No idea what to do now.

    Ich think its the update of the firmware of the controller (3.1.1221.0) . A friend has still the firmware 2.x.xxx.x and no Problems to connect the headset.

    Any body there who Can help me ?

    Probably the update on my control came with error.

    I bought a new control and the problem continues!

    * XBOX One controller firmware updated

    * XBOX One Stereo Headset firmware updated

    I reseted my console to factory settings and will test whether the problem continues. Soon I tell if it worked.

    Hey there,

    I split your question from the thread you posted on since it was dated a few months back. There was some issue when splitting the message and it did not bring with it the responses from this

    thread     that is now locked from replying due to the age of the thread.

    I noticed an Ambassador had attempted to assist you but the steps referenced did not seem to work.

    Did you plug in your controller to your Xbox with a USB cable? If so then I would suggest to plug the controller into a Windows 10 computer and check for updates there.

    Have you tried re-adding (sync) the controller to the console after update? If not, try removing the controller from the console and re-adding it.
