Problem Claiming Xbox One Games with Gold on web store

When attempting to "purchase" the free Xbox One games from Xbox One Games | Xbox my friend gets this error message:

"Sorry Purchase of this content is currently not allowed for child and teen accounts."

Despite the following:

1. He has no problem getting free Xbox 360 games that are rated M.

2. The current free Xbox One games are rated T.

3. He had no problem claiming the June Xbox One Games with Gold on the web store which included Halo Spartan **** which is rated T.

4. He does not currently own an Xbox One.

Did Microsoft change the default settings of teen accounts for the Xbox One web store?

Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions?

Trying to claim Games with Gold 360 game results in: This offer is not valid in your region.

By all accounts, I should now be able to claim Games With Gold Xbox 360 games, to play on my Xbox one. By visiting Games with Gold | Xbox Live from a PC and the claiming
the game as you would for the Xbox One.

However, when I try to claim Dungeon Siege III I get this error: This offer is not valid in your region. I also had the same problem with Dirt 3 earlier in the month.

Yes, I did check that my region matches the region of the Xbox live store page, and the same store page works fine for the Xbox One games.

Help?

Unable to redeem free game Dungeon Siege III

I'm using the web store on xbox.com and am unable to redeem the free game with Gold "Dungeon Siege III". I got Dirt 3 with no problems.

My 360 no longer works, but I was hoping to redeem it from the web store, so I can play it on Xbox One with backwards compatibility. Anyone else having this problem?

The message I get is: "

Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again"

Games With Gold games are only available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One and are only downloadable from the consoles, you can't get them any other way.

I'm afraid that's not entirely correct. It is correct that Games with Gold titles are only compatible for the console for which they are released; for example, claiming "Tekken 6" this month for Xbox 360 does not grant access on PC or any other non-Xbox
device. Since the game is back-compatible on Xbox One, it can be played there, too, of course.

However, when a user visits the Xbox Store on the web and they are signed on with their Microsoft account, any subscriptions/entitlements are taken into consideration when reviewing a title. For example, if the game is part of Games with Gold, the user can
go ahead and claim the title on the web, then install it when they get to their console.

When Games With Gold first appeared for Xbox One, many users still just had Xbox 360. Major Nelson himself advised Gold subscribers to go ahead and claim Xbox One titles if they planned on upgrading to Xbox One in the future.

I'm having this problem with my Xbox one. My problem is I have gold (can't redeem any codes because it claims I already have gold) and can't play Netflix or any games online because it claims I don't have gold
