Problem after re-entering the Ginso Tree

I'm playing Ori and The Blind Forestefinitive Edition. I missed some items while finishing the Ginso Tree so I recently re-entered it. Now I'm stuck inside. The exit at the top appears to be blocked and there is a room completely made up of spikes
and portals that is blocking my ability to return to the entrance. I don't know if there's a way to do the room in reverse once you have all your abilities but I only have double jump.

Was I even supposed to be able to re-enter the Ginso Tree? I know you can't in the original version.

Is there something with the exit I am missing?

Is there a way to get past the room o' spikes and portals to return to the entrance that I am missing?

Is there a way to load an earlier save from before I entered the tree again?

I'm just going to have to re-start the game and stay out of the Ginso Tree after I complete it, aren't I?

Stucked? Glitch? - No idea how to continue in Ori? Free hints here!

Ginso Tree (Spoilers)

Escaping this tree at the end with all the water rushing in is doing my head in - seriously half the time the controls dont work (pressing Y to grab on to those lanterns works about half the time) and the water is just too fast.

Appreciate it must be down to skill, but I swear I've got to the top and one of the purple things will just kill me, or Ori wont grab onto it (pressing Y) so the water just gets me and I drown.

I just can't do it. Really needs a half way checkpoint.

You can re-enter the Ginso Tree in the DE, thats alright. It is also alright, that the enterance at the top is closed now.

Do you have tried to leave the Ginso Tree with the Warp Ability on a Spirit Well? (You can Warp around with Spirit Wells in the Definitive Edition).

Finally survived the Ginso Tree. It's pretty rare for a game to make me feel like rage quitting. I had to take a break and refuel after that ordeal.

@La Morena Loco Wow, sry nether saw this forum is active again - so sry the late answer. If you still have the problem - for like 2 Months :S (sry), you should reinstall the game; or redownload it. Otherwise you should check your controller, maybe it sounds
stupid, but sometimes the buttons don't work propper, like START or A. I had a similar problem and thought it was a software problem, but it was jsut my old Controller (was on the 360).
