    Problem 0x80151908 on Game For Windows Live (gfwl)


    Hiello,

    I don't manage to go through a problem of connexion launching the game Viva Piñata . When I connect to my account on Game For Windows Live (gfwl) at the beginning of the game, the "error" message 0x80151908 appears and it blocks me to save my progress.

    I'm using Win10 and gfwl seems to don't refers to the right and recent support from microsoft, which always bring me to create XBOX account tho.. anyway.

    As I saw on the net, it happens the same thing on GTA IV and Batman Arckam City and it has been several years that nobody fix this problem. Start Year of the game : 2007. In 2018, Could anyone is able to help people on this issue ?!

    Steam is not the problem. GFWL is. Apparently, Russia isn't a available country on GFWL. There are so many problems with GFWL. I tried to play Dark Souls As well, and it claims my code is wrong!Well, I apologize for the inconvenience.

    This is 100% wrong.

    The Games for Windows Live (GFWL) App is still required if you want to play games that require it. Shadowrun, the Batman games (if you're not playing the Steam port), etc.

    Since you mentioned a Live ID, I suspect that it is GFWL that's the issue, but I could be wrong.

    If you have Windows 10 there actually is no need for the Windows Live app anymore. That app is to play games on Xbox Live if you had any of the earlier versions, like Windows 8.1 or Windows 8.

    ISSUE'S WITH CONNECTING PC GAME TO LIVE!!!

    Plants vs Zombies is not a GFWL game and does not have achievements tied to the XBL/GFWL service.



    Only games that are marked Games For Windows Live will have achievements. Not all games purchased from the GFW marketplace are GFWL. There are also games marked Games For Windows, these will not have achievements.

    Doubtful, as GFWL and Xbox Live are the same thing, a GFWL gamertag will still show up the same way.
