    Private Lobby/Multiplayer Issues


    Am I the only one who can't seem to get a private lobby to work? For the last few weeks every time I try to make a private Match it gets as far as connecting to server then tells me it failed. I also tried to join a regular multiplayer lobby and it failed
    there as well. I can't find anyone else who is having this issue so it has to be something on my end I'm guessing.

    Here's what I've tried so far..

    Resetting my Router (I'm on a wired connection)

    Resetting the XB1

    Uninstalling and reinstalling the game

    Putting in manual IP settings that match my router (I'm no stranger to this with the Xbox 360 open nat issues)

    and I have tried most all of these multiple times. It has worked before as I've had the game since launch and never experienced this issue before.

    Was out last night or might have dipped in. I've heard lobbies are difficult. Did you try a private lobby?

    Multiplayer achievements

    I had this issue too when I was trying to complete the achievements in a solo multiplayer lobby. Are you trying there in a public lobby or a private lobby with at least 1 other person?

    Closes thing in multiplayer GTA V you could do to offline is playing in a private lobby.

    Limits the content though.

    And getting kicked from the party/privates does happen in-game. But only if I'm not playing multiplayer, if I sit in an empty lobby before starting up the joining process I still get kicked. But if I am in a multiplayer lobby or playing a multiplayer game
    I never get kicked at all.

    Please file a complaint against this user for System Tampering. Call Of Duty: WaW multiplayer is known to have some online issues w/ modded lobbies. Try organizing a private match with friends which should ensure a hack-free environment.

    Adding mods to games.

    I think mods might not be a bad idea as long as they don’t effect public matchmaking lobbies. I think that it would be annoying to hop into a random GTA online lobby and its super modded out. I think it would be cool to join into a private multiplayer
    lobby with my friends and be able to utilize these mods.
