Privacy Settings are disabled and I don't know why

I logged on to turn off some privacy settings, but it says I am in a family group that disables it. The issue is that my account isn't in any Microsoft family or xbox family, my account is completely independent. I have tried to restart my computer, sign out and back in, or change microsoft settings but nothing has worked. How can I change the privacy settings?

must create an account, add the account that already exists in the family of the new account and then leave it, that should solve it.

You can disable the option in your account privacy settings but I don't recommend that

Belatedly, on the 360, the message is this:

Premium content is blocked for this profile.

To change your privacy and online settings, go to settings, privacy.

I don't know how or why this block is in place, and going to settings, privacy, there doesn't seem to be a useful option there to fix it.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

For you to manage it you can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings.

If the system detects that your account is a child account you will be redirected to a support site and if not you will be able to change it successfully.

You don't have to worry if it was able to detect that you are a child account. I know just the right thing to do. Just let me know what you will see.
