    So, I'm trying to upload a video so I can edit it, but whenever I click upload a tab pops up and says I cant upload it because f my privacy setting or previous background but I haven't done anything bad in my background (nothing I can remember at least)
    and I went to my setting and couldn't find anything to turn on or off to make it so I can upload a video. I have no clue what to do and it would be very helpful if I could figure out a way to upload it so I can edit everything in, I have no clue what to do

    Some privacy settings stop this sometimes just uploading it to your one drive another way to edit it. Have you tried uploading it to your onedrive?

    Sounds like he may need to modify his privacy settings on his account which you can do by clicking My Account at the top of this page.

    Also, on the Xbox One there is a privacy setting which allows any SmartGlass to connect to the console, only the same account or none at all and that could be the issue. Just look in the SETTINGS for that option.

    As a heads up, he can also send messages through Xbox.com rather than using SmartGlass if he wanted to.
