Pricing is way out of hand

    Pricing is way out of hand


    For example, I can purchase dying light for 60-70AUD (just like any other new release) but for some reason Microsoft thinks its okay to charge us 99.95 dollars per title. There's titles that have been out for months that are still 99.99AUD but are 30 dollars
    in store.. I know its a set RRP, but do you see any of these stores set a price to RRP and never change it? I'd be very curious as to what the PS4 version is retailing for on PSN. The PC version is $71 on steam and 60 dollars in store. Why does Microsoft make
    an extra $30..?

    Anyway my question is, why are we paying so much more for less? I get no disc, I have to use my download useage and to top it off Australian internet speeds are putrid. What happens if I don't like the game? Or its bugged to hell? No returns right? Another
    reason to not purchase anything from the marketplace... With these dodgy sales tactics you're starting to lose me as a customer and really making me regret buying my 2nd xbox one.

    Merchandising is getting out of hand.

    Call of Duty has become a brand. A brand that gamers buy. It's just good business to market this way. I have a hoodie and keychains. If you don’t like the stuff don’t buy it.

    As for the glasses, they work. I have Gunnars that are great and reduce eye fatigue.

    Finally got a response. I didn't know it was microsofts policy to try and get customers to shop locally rather then online which would explain a lot lol. This is the only time I'd purchase online because the release dates been pushed back by more then a
    few weeks. Might just have to buy the pc version and miss the console release.

    Battlefield 3 MP will require code to access it...but not "Online Pass"

    As long as there is a way to purchase a reasonably price multiplayer code and buying a 2nd hand copy of the game and a code would work out to be cheaper than buying a full price version then I have no problem with this.

    I personally have no issue with the price of the console at all. The games on the other hand is a different story as this is nothing short of a joke. I think that the games should be the focus for questioning as the cumulative price of buying games over
    this generation will far out way the initial spend on the console and you will be quite literally giving this money away for nothing in return.
