    hi I purchased the pre order of cuphead on my Xbox one console on the 12th of June 2017 for +-300 South African rands all went well can see the game in games and apps. But the other day I clicked on it and was expected the game is not released yet but instead
    was met with a game is not installed check Xbox store which I did and the price in there had now changed to over R2000 South African Rands which is absolutely unheard of ?

    What is happening will I be charged the original price ??

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    I ordered mine from the MS store right after the E3 conference and mine says

    Xbox One Day One

    Price: $499.99

    Quantity: 1

    Status: BackOrdered

    Pre-Order Boxed Shipment

    Pre-Order Pre-order now to get Xbox One on the day it's released

    PAID PRE-ORDER TERMS
    •If you decide to cancel a paid pre-order funds paid will appear in your ShopTo.Net account balance. If you request this balance to be refunded back to your card an administration fee of £0.70p will be deducted from your refund total.
    •In the event of a pre-order dropping in price we will credit the difference paid back to your ShopTo.Net account balance upon the item shipping.
    •Once a paid pre-order has been made due to the different costs of our various delivery options you are not able to change the delivery method selected. If you would like to change your delivery method please cancel and re-order.


    I have bolded the part relating to prepaid preorders, whether that be a console, or a game, that you order, pay for in full and then change your mind, BEFORE ANY GOODS SHIP.

    Pre-orders

    If you pre-order from the digital store and you purchase using a credit card as a payment method you will not be billed until a week or so prior to release. So if the price changes you will be billed what ever the price is at the time you are billed. After
    you have been billed the price is final you will not be refunded if it changes.

    They should lower the price. Not to stick a finger up at sony but to help with Xbone pre-orders.

    PS4 is still outselling Xbox 1. This wont change while the xbox is £80 dearer
