Preview error code 0x80072efd

please remove my console (serial number:103276253948 ) from the preview program as this update fails on my console and I no longer wish to test these features. I'm unable to remove myself on the console due to this update error.

New Xbox one S

Am planning on getting an S. I'm in the preview program. My question is can I remove my serial number from the preview program with the new update (you have that option). Should I use that option or just un enroll from the program. Or should I wait and enroll
the S before un enrolling the xbox one.

Sorry but you were misinformed. Neither phone support nor people on the forums can grant you access to the preview.

The only way to get in is to be invited by a friend (as you have already done). After that you will have to wait to see if you are added to the program. An invite does not mean that you will be automatically accepted.

I don't think you can.

The preview is tied to the console serial number.

Hey Soviet,

If you'd like, PM me the serial number of the console receiving Preview updates and I'll take a look. Bear in mind that any removal will have to wait until the end of the current wave in order to prevent a factory reset, but I'll be happy to queue your console
for removal.

Once you have access to the preview forums, UrbanizedTree will be able to help you and will probably need your console ID / Serial number.

He's the guy that deals with preview registrations and will be able to help you out. :eek:

Hey there fellow gamer because you upgraded your console you will have to re-enroll in the preview program due to the new serial number on your new console. Right now the preview program is at full capacity may be diffucult to get back in.
