Prepaid Gold membership after upgrade to Ultimate

Hi,

I just received promotion from xbox to upgrade to Ultimate for $1. But now I have prepaid Gold membership until 6/21. It seems using the promo will upgrade my gold membership to ultimate. But say if I cancel the ultimate 3 months later, can I still have
my prepaid Gold membership until 6/21?

It will be converted to Ultimate, but not at the full rate. After you've taken the $1 (or 1 local currency unit) offer that converts your prepaid memberships at parity (that is, one month for every prepaid month), subsequent prepaid cards will be redeemed
at a lower rate. You can find a conversion chart in the
FAQ on the Game Pass Ultimate page. But for quick reference, 24 months of Xbox Live Gold will be converted to 8 months of Ultimate.

Thanks for coming to the forums. If you go Ultimate, you will have Ultimate until 9/21. The first time you upgrade to Ultimate it transfers gold and game pass to Ultimate time but full. So lets say you got gold until 6/21 then you also have a year of game
pass, you will actually have ultimate until 9/22. Once you are enrolled in Ultimate then a gold subscription is converted to Ultimate time if used. Here is a

So in short it would greatly benefit you to upgrade to the game pass Ultimate. If you cancel you will lose all the time you had from gold. Reason is you converted all the time to Ultimate.

No. Once your gold is upgraded, it cannot be reverted back. The gold is essentially cancelled when you upgrade so if you were to cancel Ultimate you would cancel everything. If you decide you don't want Ultimate, it would be best to turn off auto-renewal.
That way you can stil use gold and then once Ultimate actually runs out you can purchase just a regular gold subscription.

No, any converted Xbox Live Gold time will be lost if you cancel after 3 months. I would suggest turning off auto renew at HTTPS://account.microsoft.com/services and
letting it run till 6/21

Well no as you forfeited the when you canceled

The gamepass ultimate upgraded your gold to ultimate which wouldve been 13 months of ultimate

Not 1monthn of ultimate you were told this when you upgraded

As with any subscription it stacks unlike psn it gets exchanged 1/1

And since you canceled a prepaid gold.ultimate membership there is no refunds

Prepaid cards can't be refunded and the gold was canceled and upgraded to 13monthd of ultimate when you upgraded

When you bought the upgrade it would've told you the new renewal date
