prepaid code problem

A few days ago my prepaid code wouldn't be accepted, I believe this to be due to an error of your systems. At the time there was a game and content on offer I wanted to purchase. I have now since got the code to work but the game and content is no longer
on offer. Would you kindly honor the offer that was standing at the time for me please as this was a system error. Thanks

Need help redeeming my xbox live code

I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

so what the... what do I do now?

Gold subscription does not except prepaid cards.edit

Not sure how in 2016, you don't use debit or credit cards but that's just me.

Anyway, could someone else confirm if using prepaid VISAs work or not? You could always go to gamestop or bestbuy, use your prepaid VISA card on a subscription xbox live card. That should work. Perhaps order a digital code on amazon with your prepaid VISA. I'm pretty sure they accept it.Click to expand...

Doesn't trust banks or credit card companies. Tries to use their pre-paid cards.

I fear for this person's future when they try to buy a house with no credit. Maybe they are rich and will just buy it out right with their mattress money.

As for a solution to your problem, use your prepaid card from a company you don't trust to buy a 12-month or 3-month Xbox Live Gold card from the store.

Depends on what the error was

Was it 8015017?

If so It's your account setting

Your account region must reflect your actual region unless you don't live in an xbox live region or are on an us foreign bases in which cse you must use the host country

If it's an non xbox live supported country you cannot redeem the code

To change it you must go to my account on this website by clicking your gamer tag on the upper right menu and then select account
