Preorder bonuses for Gears of War 4 - Brothers to the End

Sometime in August it was announced and then confirmed by Rod Ferguson and the coalition that all Gears of War 4 past and future preorders would receive the Brothers to the End packin addition to the Vintage Del Pack

This was reiterated by the UK press

All Gears of War 4 pre-orders now include bonus Old Man Marcus - VideoGamer.com

So I pre-ordered and have subsequently been told that my retailer ShopTo.Net know nothing of this promotion and that they have no codes and to contact MS.

So I have now contacted MS Via Twitter and Chat who both told me to contact ShopTo.Net who stand firm that you have not provided them with any codes and to contact you again.

I have recieved neither the Vintage Del or more importantly to me the Brothers to the End Codes.

As the publisher and writer of the promotion surely you can rectify this situation as currently it is bordering on false advertisement.

Missing The Brothers to the End Elite Gear Pack DLC code.

Pre-orderd Gears of War 4 Ultimate Edition, still missing the pre order bonus DLC: The Brothers to the End Elite Gear Pack.

 

Didn't get code for brothers to the end elite gear pack.

I've went and talked to my best buy retailer and they don't know about the pack what I've ffound online is this.

Brothers to the End Pre-Order Bonus

Appears as DLC under Manage Game: Yes

Where to find your content: In your Customization options, under Characters and Weapon Skins



The Brothers to the End Pre-Order Bonus contains 5 items – 3 characters (Old Man Marcus, Tomorrow Anya and Zombie Dom) as well as 2 Weapon Skins (Gold Wave Lancer, Gold Wave Gnasher).



IMPORTANT: If you did not purchase your game via the Xbox or Windows Store, you will need to redeem the code given to you by your retailer for this content. Please contact
the retailer you purchased from if you do not have this code.



Why does this pack appear as Adam Fenix DLC in my Downloaded Items?

This is a display error with the pack, and does not have an impact on your ability to find this content in game.



How do I find my Characters and Weapon Skins?

Unlike many of our other bonus items, these Cards go directly into your inventory. Head to the Customization menu and check your Characters, Lancer and Gnasher weapon skins.



I can’t find the Brothers To The End items.

I have done this and they are adamant that they have not received any codes from the publisher. This is ultimately a MS Promotion and should be resolved by them.

Shopto just stopped helping on twitter after proving the advertised the codes too.

The information that bowski provided above is absolutely correct. Pre-order bonuses for physical copies are handled and distributed by the retailer. We are unable to generate codes, we can only recover codes that have been sent to you via Xbox Live messages.
