    Pre Orders Not Reflecting in My VIP Stats


    After posting an issue with my Mass Effect Pre order. It now shows in the On Demand section but still not reflected in MY VIP purchases.

    Halo wars 2 po reward

    Pre-orders do not count towards VIP so it would not have counted towards your VIP boost. Pre-orders will only count for credits or anything if they are part of a specific offer on the site at the time. So your Halo Wars 2 purchase would have counted towards
    your Games on Demand Punchcard. Individual purchases are not shown on your Rewards statement. Only offers you have complete.

    why did my vip rank decrease in the middle of october???

    Same thing happened to me. Was at VIP 3, now I am at VIP 2. Looks like all those pre-orders in September didn't really matter.

    Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles
    (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season
    Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

    Same here. The VIP membership and 6 pre-order cars were accepted on XBOX.com, but the VIP membership never turned up on the console, only the 6 pre-order cars.

    Microsoft can only blame themselves...

    A lot of those diagrams indicate pre-orders for the Xbox One Day One Edition & may not reflect the actual pre-order sales of ALL Xbox One pre-orders. Just my 2 cents...

    Do Pre-orders count towards MyVip Now?

    No. Preorders are not eligible for VIP.
    I'm trying to understand why pre-orders are not eligible for vip. Is it because otherwise you would get rewarded twice, e.g. once for the vip star boost and once for the on demand pre-order punch card?

    The fact that it's not eligible for the star boost is a real downer for me. I would like to pre-order Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition in order to play the Halo Wars Definitive Edition straight away.
