Pre-ordered Red Dead 2 Ultimate, no GTA V code sent

I pre ordered Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition through The Microsoft Store on my Xbox One and was supposed to receive a message with a code for $2 Million in GTA V Online within 7-10 days. It has been long past that and still no code

I have not since I pre ordered from the Microsoft Store and was supposed to get the message with the code from messages from Xbox Live

 

For digital pre-orders from the Microsoft Store, the GTA$ bonus will be delivered to your Xbox message center 7-10 days after your pre-order. Your code can be redeemed on your Xbox One or Xbox.com.

 

I have yet to receive my code either and I ordered Red Dead on June 16th. I am currently having a terrible customer service call with the Microsoft Store where the man does not even know what game I am taking about and is trying to transfer me to the billing
department who then said she had to transfer me to the games & apps department. WOW! Worst customer service ever. I asked to talk to stateside support and they said they weren’t allowed to. It took me about three times of him repeating himself for me to understand
what he said, which, in the end, did not help me at all! Still holding for the next department now and going on 25 minutes on the phone

 

I finally got stateside and they told me it’s Rockstar that generates the code and forwards it to XBox for them to send the message, so, off to Rockstar support and see what happens there. The stateside guy was very helpful and understood exactly what
my problem was. If you’re gonna call, don’t call the Microsoft store call 800 FOR MY XBOX. Waaaaay better!

 

Thanks good to know! I actually recieved my code from microsoft a week or two back, just took longer than expected. R* threw a bonus in there too for it being later than expected so i hope things go well for you. Good luck!
