Pre-ordered Dishonored 2 Limited Edition...but haven't received Dishonored Definitive code...

I pre-ordered the Dishonored 2 Limited Edition (the only available copy) through my console on the MS Store and was hoping to see the Dishonored Definitive Edition added to my download queue or even to the 'My Games' section to download at a later date.
However I have not received any kind of code or copy to download, and the game is still up for £14.99 on the MS Store when I'm logged into my profile. This is not just an issue for me either, as i've seen that quite a few other players arent getting their
copies. Will we receive a code in the coming days/weeks to get our copies, or should we be able to add it from the store to our download queue?

I contacted support and they suggested I post over here. Purchased and pre-ordered Dishonored 2 but I haven't received a code for Dishonored Definitive Edition yet. verified that it was not in my email (or junk mail) and have not received any codes through
Xbox Live messages on my console

 

Dishonored Definitive Edition Promo code w/ D2 pre order

Have not received my promotional code for Dishonored Definitive Edition that was included with the preorder of Dishonored 2 Limited Edition. It has been 2 weeks since game release and just checking on delivery of the promo code.

Hey there NAVMEIS3R.

It should show up automatically under your Ready To Install list. If you don't see it there, visit the game bundle for the Limited Edition and attempt to "buy" the Definitive edition. It should show up as free and you should be able to install it. Let us know

 

Hello Mister Maka, thank you for your reply. I've checked the store and my Ready to Install list and the Dishonored Definitive Edition still isn't available for me to download for free as part of the Limited Edition package I bought. The Limited Edition
page on the MS store on my console is no longer available now for viewing, and so I cannot attempt to download it as part of the bundle anymore. I take it I'll need to get in contact with Microsoft to sort out this issue?

Thanks for clarifying, it's odd that the game still isn't showing up for you. Are you able to try removing your profile from your Xbox One and add it back to see if it correctly updates your license for the game? Also, to clarify, did you purchase a digital
code for the game or did you purchase it on your Xbox One?

 

Hey Mister Maka, thanks for the reply. I will try deleting and re-downloading my profile at the weekend when I have time to and see if that works. And to clarify, I preordered/purchased the game on my Xbox One through the store on my console. The Limited
Edition was the only available copy to purchase, and of course stated that a free copy of Dishonored was offered with the game too.

Hey Mister Maka, I deleted my profile and reinstalled it onto my console and still no dice. The game wasn't added to the 'My Games' section or available for free through the MS store on my console.

Are there any other suggestions you may have, or should I try getting in touch with Microsoft directly and see what they can do?
