    Pre-order Req Pack download code does not work from Best Buy


    I pre-ordered Halo 5 from Best Buy last Monday before the release. When I picked it up on Tuesday, I got the pre-order code for the Req Pack. Well when I tried using it when I got home, the code said it was invalid. I pre-ordered it for my brother, and this
    is still not working today.

    Anyone else having a hard time pre-loading their download code for their Guardians Limited Collectors edition?

    To clarify, the REQ pack, and the fall of reach did download and install for me. The digital pre-order bonus did not. As I understand it, this is the armor and weapon skin advertised as a pre-order bonus with many retailers.

    Thank you for contacting us. Do you still have this issue on-going ? If Yes have you turned to your retailer (Best Buy) and asked that non-working codes are exchanged for you ?

    Hi, yes this is still an ongoing issue. I called them the day I picked up the game (Tuesday, the release date) and they said it is not up to them for issuing codes, and told me to contact Microsoft. I contacted Xbox Support and they redirected me to this
    forum to fix this issue. The code is invalid/not available still at this moment. I have the reference number from Xbox Support. Thank you for replying, and hopefully you can help.

    It sounds like you did get the Req Packs. You'll receive 2 Req Packs a week until you receive all 14 packs that the pre-order offered.
