Pre order of fallout 76 tells me I still have to wait?

I pre ordered the game the moment it was available.

obviously I wasnt a,lowed to play right away so i waited until launch.

I was told those who pre-ordered on xbox wouldnt need a code, just to create a bathesda account

(which i already had)

So the day comes....7pm eastern

And when i try to play it tells me I have to wait. I go to the official page on the xbox store and there is a button that says "play"

clicking it brings me back to official game page saying I have to wait.

I thought maybe there wqas an error in instal or download so i deleted the game, restarted my system. logged out, restarted logged back in and reinstalled the game.

Still no allowance to play.

So Now I hear that the servers are only on for a few hours but that cant be the issue because it hasnt let me on at all....ever...in 2 days.

Under normal circumstances i would just wait and let thigs sort themselves out but I pre-ordered for a reason.

I should be able to play or get an explanation why I cant.

Can someone please help me figure this out?

Fallout 76

Right off the bat, only players who have pre-ordered Fallout 76 will have access to the beta.

After the pre-order you will receive a beta code on the pre-order receipt or via email confirmation, which you can enter on the official site.

Later you will be contacted via the given email address, you will receive the official console beta access code or the download instructions for Bethesda.net via email.

If you pre-order Fallout 76 in the Xbox One Shop, Playstation Shop or on Bethesda.net digitally, you will automatically get access to the beta when it starts.

The beta is first run on Xbox One. Later, PS4 and PC (via Bethesda.net) will follow.

I preorderd my Fallout 76 copy from Cheapest Keys for: Fallout 76 (PC)

which sadly doesn't include the Beta, but it was way cheaper! So now I am waiting to buy some cheap Beta codes

I purchased Fallout 76 Tricentennial edition pre-order last night on the xbox store - will I still get a BETA code? I understand they had already started being delivered?

Bethesda stated that the servers wont be running 24/7 for the B.E.T.A.

"During the B.E.T.A. one of our primary goals is to stress test and break the game. As such, the servers will not be running 24/7;
instead, they’ll be online during targeted timeframes so we can get as many people as possible playing at the same time. Why? Because that’s the best way to put all our systems to the test and see how they respond.
On any given day the game might be up for
anywhere between four to eight hours. "

the game doesnt launch until 14 november

the beta sessions are going on now every so often

these are the next session times which you should have access to from preordering

October 27 – 5 PM ET to 7 PM ET (2 PM PT to 4 PM PT / 10 PM to 12 AM UK)

October 28 – 12 PM ET to 2 PM ET (9 AM PT to 11 AM PT / 5 PM to 7 PM UK)

 

When i say "that cant be he issue" I mean the issue causing me not to play, not doubting that the servers arent 24/7. I know someone would say:

"the servers arent always on so maybe you tried to play while off"

and i wanted to point out that cant be the cause of he issue because its been two days.

I preordered the day it was made available for pre-order I should be able to play according to their own announcement
