    Hello,

    I pre-ordered Destiny 2 which is the stamp card for this month. I have not received the 6,000 points for the game. How do I go about getting those points?

    I am missing Xbox Rewards points for my pre-order of Halo Wars 2, how do I go about getting them?

    I pre-ordered Halo Wars 2 on January 3rd and my rewards page has not given me credit for doing so. Was my pre-order done too soon to count towards my rewards?

    Is this program designed to deter people from making digital purchases?

    If even microsoftstore.com is offering 15k rewards points *per* physical game pre-order, and digital offers nothing, why would I buy digital?

    If I have to pre-order 3 games to get 15k rewards points, and one physical gives me 15k (or the same 3 games give me 45k total rewards points), why would I buy digital?

    If any pre-ordered physical copy gives me 15k rewards points, and only a select few digital titles are eligible for the rewards punchcard, why would I buy digital?

    If major competitors offer competitive discounts (competitive with the Microsoft store) on their physical retail copies of games AND allow me to pick-up in-person rather than waiting to ship, why would I buy digital at full price with 0 rewards?

    If major competitors provide rewards on all of their digital purchases (and not just ones selected for pre-order punchcards) irrespective of whether the item is pre-ordered or purchased, why would I every buy a digital game from Microsoft?

    If a pre-order does not provide rewards credits unless it is part of a select few available on a punchcard (and what we have now is the first of its kind IIRC), why would I *ever* pre-order a digital game for xbox?

    If I need to spend $0 at major competitors to get rewards points, why would I spend money to get myVIP star ratings to get rewards points back at a comparable point to competitors?

    If I have a PS4, why would I buy a digital copy on xbox instead?

    If I have a PC, why would I pay a console premium to buy a digital copy on xbox instead?

    The 6,000 points is a Microsoft Rewards program offer, not an Xbox Rewards program offer. For assistance with the Microsoft Rewards program you would need to contact their customer support via their redemption page. Per the terms of that offer, preorders
    are not eligible.

    Not getting points added to my Xbox Reward credits

    Given the shady back and forth between Activision and MS, it wouldn't surprise me if the reward credits for digital pre-orders are mucked up as well.

    Why is it made deliberately difficult to cancel (paid for) pre-orders?

    Well, I managed to contact somebody at Microsoft support and they actually refunded me for the pre-order!!! :)

    Re-ordered the game to take advantage of the 6,000 points bonus, and they have just given me the standard amount of points you'd normally get!! :/

    So now I'm trying to get in touch with the rewards team, who to be fair, have always been quick to reply and sort things out.

    Since you all are rewards members maybe you know the answer to this. The 15,000 point credit for pre-ordering through the Microsoft Store, how long does that usually take to be applied?

    As for the rewards program overall i find it ok. It is free so nothing lost. And 15,000 credits for pre-ordering is equivalent to $15 for me so I can pre-order 2 games i was going to buy anyway and get back $30 worth of credit. Not a bad deal.
