    When it comes to pre-orders, you are charged in the days leading up to the full release, hence why the system tried charging your account today.

    I work at Amazon and our volumes are high for PS4. They haven't updated the exact release date yet, but that should be updated by next week I assume. I took atleast 11 calls for preorders this morning within the first hour of my shift. Though I found
    it stupid that people call customer service to preorder something when we can't order for a customer lol. Also I should add the release IS for November 2013 and not December 31 so don't worry, same goes for the Xbox Done.

    That threw me off as well, probably just a place holder date. Releasing Dec, 31st would be a bad move.
