    Geez. It'll be fine. You get less stress leaving it running than constantly turning it on and off and on and off. All that thermal cycling with parts expanding and contracting, power surges, etc.

    hmm thanks for the link and the info.

    I now got to ask myself how much is 15 watts if I leave it on Instant on all the time.

    While I hear whats said about turning ona nad off can be bad for the device I also wonder how good it is for the fans and CPu being on 24/7.

    I think the main reason to leave it on would be for the tv mode. If I dont use that then there is no need to really use it.

    Ofcourse with instant on the system and Tv power up much quicker. From a stright cold boot the system turns on but then the kinect takes ~30 seconds to turn on which will then turn on the tv.

    Instant on is much faster and as much as i would like to use this feature....the idea of leaving it "ON" through out the day is alittle worrying but the gentleman above does have a good point about "thermal cycling with parts expanding and contracting, power
    surges, etc."
