    Power turns off when i plug it into my xbox one fat


    Hello, my xbox one is already 5 years old, never had any problems with it, never spilled any liquids in it, never hit it with anything, i wanted to know why the power supply turns off when i plug it in, i really want the problem to be the power supply, because buying an used xbox one isn't the smartest move, because it isn't gonna last longer anyways, and buying a Series x (Not buying the series s because i want to play my physical games) is going to cost too much for it to be a valid option for me. What do i do?

    In my experience, it is a problem with your power supply. As Microsoft does not repair the model of this console or its accessories, I recommend taking both to confirm the problem and repair your power supply before buying a new one.

    Controller Issues.

    My controller wouldn't work at all.

    I found turning off the power-strip my new cod xbox one is plugged into when cycling power did the trick.

    I realized it might when I noticed the controller stays on when plugged in,

    even without batteries, even with the xbox off.

    Might not help with you, but it might help someone.

    Got to cut the power completely.

    I plug the power brick into any outlet first it is orange and then when I plug it into my xbox one it turns off immediately. I received my replacement xbox and that does not work, I am having the same issue. I will now be sending in my power brick.

    my xobox one will not turn on either. once i plug the power brick to the wall light turns on amber then off again. if i unplug all cables then just plug the power supply to the wall the amber light is on, indicating power.. turns off immediately after being
    connected to the xbox one console. can't seem to find any help except that microsoft xbox support suggested that i return the power supply in order to receive a replacement power supply
