    Power Supply question


    Hi, I have Original Xbox one, I have it set to energy saving, so its suppose to completely shut down after I turn the console off, which I believe it does, however the light on power supply remains amber and the only way to have no light at all is to unplug it from the wall. So it is normal if the light is amber on power supply brick?

    Hey there, yes you would also need a UK Transformer (unless the adapter can manage the power transform itself - which some do). Alternatively, you could just order a 'UK Xbox 360 Power Supply' and use that in your console instead of the American one.



    It would save a lot of bother :)



    The console itself is the same everywhere and the power supply just manages the electrical current from its local socket into the console. So a UK Power Supply would resolve this for you and would probably be (in my own opinion) the best method.

    OperativeManx 10, hey there!

    Welcome to the Country by the way! Many of our "D.I.Y" stores and supermarkets actually stock this equipment and any of them should be sufficient enough for you to use. Just ask for something called a 'US to UK plug adapter'.



    Simply put, it will plug into your power outlet (wall socket) and then your 360's power supply plug will fit into that.



    You can literally pick these up from almost any major store or D.I.Y shop.
