    Console keeps turning off every 5-10 mins without warning. Not over heated and power plug is tight in.

    Mine goes off after 2 to 3 hours of gameplay. Xbox ambassador advised me to carry out a soft reset on the console.

    Believe it may be an issue with overheating. Both Xbox Series X games and normal games seem to be crashing for me.

    Sorry to hear that. Have you tried plugging in the console directly to a different wall outlet without using power strip or surge protector?

    You can also try this: Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in. Press and hold the SYNC button and the EJECT button, and then press the Xbox button on the console. Continue holding the SYNC and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the SYNC and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. Select reset then keep games and apps.

    In case the issue still persist, the best thing to do is to request a service.
