    Power dropped during install FS 2020 Deluxe on Win 10 PC


    I was about 10 hours into downloading the content for FS 2020 Deluxe on a Win 10 PC - about halfway through according to the "Progress" indicator.

    Power went off-and-on about 8 times within a minute. Unbefreakinglievable. In MS Store I don't see a link for resuming an interrupted download. The store also says the product is installed and displays a "Play" link. Of course it won't play, because half
    the product is missing.

    What can I do other than completely rerun the complete install?

    And how can I convince The Store that FS isn't really installed and that it needs to start the install all over again?

    Sorry for delay in updating.

    I updated W10 to latest version, it took a ‘long’ time even with my 75m download speed.

    The install process then worked, but like you the download was small, mine only contained the MS app, which when clicked on produces a message saying “be patient”!

    So it looks as if we shall have to wait until the 18th and see what happens when 100K + try to download.

    Hi Dieter.

    It traspired that my main problem was that my PC was running version 1903 not the latest version 2004 of Windows.

    It’s currently down loading and updating. I was under the impression that if a PC was set to allow all updates it would have the latest version, appears I was wrong.

    Once the update is completed i will no doubt run into the same situation as you.

    I tried to pre install the mfs 2020 with the xbox app.

    It works, but there are only 12,8 MB files - so the big amount of 150 GB "are waiting" or not.

    nobody can tell why "pre install" and what`s to do when 18 th august arrived and the full files has to be downloaded.

    I am very disappointed of that
