    Power brick keeps shutting down


    The power brick to our Xbox One keeps shutting down the last few days. The console was bought almost two years ago. We unplug it for a while and it comes back on but keeps powering off after having the console on for a short time. Is there a known problem
    with these power supplies? I don’t think the 360 one can be used on a One can it?

    red light help

    Xbox 360 black power brick has red light and keeps shutting down. I can let it sit for like 30 minutes and its good for maybe another 30 min. This is very frustrating. In the middle of games it just decides to shut down. Embarrassing and tiring. Please

    Red light help!!

    Xbox 360 black power brick has red light and keeps shutting down. I can let it sit for like 30 minutes and its good for maybe another 30 min. This is very frustrating. In the middle of games it just decides to shut down. Embarrassing and tiring. Please

    I don't think there is any known issues with the power supply on Xbox One, can you please

    follow this guide     to try to work out if your power supply is faulty.

    Forza Horizon 4 online connectio fail...

    A hard reset might help.

    Hold down the power button until the console shuts down.

    Then unplug the power brick and keep it unplugged for 5min.

    Plug it back in and restart the system.

    That might help

    How old is the console? What color is the light on the power brick when the console shuts down?

    It's possible that the console itself or the power brick is overheating and causing the console to shut down like this. If this is the case it may be in need of a repair/replacement.

    Can the Xbox One install while off?

    yes, as long as you don't have it on power saving mode, IF your power brick is OFF when you shut down, then its on power saving mode, regular stand-by an the console shuts off but the power brick stays on, << you are down loading <<
