Power Armor Display Question

So I have been trying to figure this out now for a couple of weeks. When I am in my power armor there is a gauge that says "Core" This displays how much power is lefter in my current Fusion Core.... there is also a digital number in this same spot that,
currently, says 88. This number has been different several times, I've seen 56, 72, and 63.... I have yet to figure out what this number is. I thought it was my current core percentage but that' not it seeing as the analog gauge is around 45 and the digital
display is 88..... I thought it was the current state of repair that my power armor was in.....nope, I went to Sanctuary Hills and fully repaired my armor and it didn't change..... so can someone tell me what this number is for? It's driving me nuts!

Stealing power armor and keeping it.

You can also use VATS to shoot out the fusion core of the enemies Power Armor. It will pop out, they get out of it, then the fusion core explodes, killing the baddie.

You hop in the "stolen" Power Armor, take it home, put it on display, and go on your merry way

 

Favorite armor?

I guess I would use combat armor, till I got the Remnants Power Armor then that's about all I used ever

My questions what was everyone's fav weapon to use?, anyone else wish they brought back the dart gun??

 

That number is the amount of fusion cores in your inventory. It goes down as you use your cores and when you find others around the Commonwealth, it adds to the number.
