Power A xbox one controller not working on pc Fortnite

So Recently I got a PowerA Xbox One controller for around £15 on cashconverters. It was great, you know I was playing Fortnite and all those other popular games. However my joystick was a bit squeaky so I decided to open it up and clean it, I din't manage
to open the controller so I said oh whatever. Then I loaded up Fortnite (on my pc) and plugged in my controller but then whilst I was playing I realised the LT and RT buttons weren't working I tried a lot of things on google - none of them worked. I posted
here before and the person who responded told me to update the drivers. Although I had already updated the drivers so please help me. I don't know if I could get a replacement for a PowerA controller.

Thanks for reaching out to the Xbox Forums for advice on how to get your controller working with your PC.

I would say that if you're having problems specifically with those buttons, then I would try reviewing the info entitled How
to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller to a Windows PC and see if the steps there help it come back up the right way.

If that does not help, then it would be the best to try the steps
Xbox One Wireless Controller Solution .

Finally, if those buttons don't work after all those means to troubleshoot, then I would recommend replacing that controller.

When you get a chance, give those aforementioned steps a shot and let us know how that helped.

The minute you open any electronic device up you void the warranty. You may have to buy another one.

It didnt have a warranty card because it didnt come in the original packaging just in bubble wrap

Hello again, this is really weird, because the Xbox One controller is fully works on Win 10 and 11, as it plays on PC, has installed Epic Launcher and Fortnite by Epic, ever tried to check the control settings within the game?
