    Potential Solution to Wired Networking Issues


    Xbox wired connection would go out and would require a router reset.

    Problem was solved by selecting instant on Stand By instead of Energy Saver in settings; I no longer have to restart router.

    I know a lot of people have experienced similar issues, and this never came up in my research on solutions.

    As a side note, I also set a default DMZ server in my router settings using the IPv4 IP specified by the Xbox in advanced network settings, but I think the solution stated above will fix many of the problems being experienced and avoid having to restart the console to restore internet. u/Microsoft you should look at this for the next Xbox update and also include in your troubleshooting guide

    This sounds more like you have a network issue.

    Are you using WiFi or wired ethernet to connect to your network hardware?

    Try wired ethernet if using WiFi.

    Network connection solution may assist you.

    Are you on wireless or wired? If you are on wireless i would test it by trying wired also maybe try going directly to the modem if possible. If this solves the issue its probably your router. If this doesn't solve your issue it could potential be the network
    card in the console its self. If your internet speeds and bandwidth are solid there should no issue in terms of the internet. I hope you figure it out, but i'm leaning towards a hardware issue.
