Posts locked before resolved. Gems no value anymore?

please do not lock until resolved. I was told my gems have no currency value which according to your site is not true becuase 500 gems converts to 5000 credits which at the end of the month turn into 5$usd. So that is currency value becuse all those conversions
are linear and created by microsoft themselves, no third party. So when im unable to spend my 44 to 294 gems on something by june 15 they are converted 1 to 1 microsoft rewards points. This is far lower than the traditional conversion used by xbox rewards
of 1gem to 20 rewards points. I dont understand why gems are devalued by 20x in this swap to microsoft rewards when rewards points themselves arent devalued in the switch and are still exchaged at the same rates. So i feel am being punished for this transition
to a more streamlined service. It just doesnt seem right to me being a loyal xbox live supporter for 9 almost 10 years. Just do whats right for me and all other gamers in this situation and dont take advantage of this change to strip people of their rightly
earned gains.

Per the program's FAQ (before it was changed). 1,000 credits is equal to £0.80 so you received the correct amount.

If you mean you had 4100 gems that were converted, gems have no monetary value. So when they are converted they are transferred as rewards cedits.

Gems have no currency value. Since we recognize how attached to their Gems our users have been, when you are transitioned to Microsoft Rewards, Gems will be converted to 1 Microsoft Point.

Gems have no currency value and were only used to obtain items from the Vault. Due to user feedback, if you opt out of the program, 1 Gem will become 1 Reward Credit, not 10 Rewards Credits. Since this is also the conversion rate for Gems to Microsoft Points
(1:1). Gems have never been worth 20 Rewards Credits. As you request, we will leave the thread unlocked, but cannot guarantee a response.

 

yes and those items from the vault include rewards points so my gems are converted to rewards points at 20 to 1gem. Idk where you got 10 to 1. You clearly do not understand what i am clearly layimg out if you are sayimg things like this. Also you are looking
at this like you dont care about your customers. Look at this situation morally and tell me that it is right that i lose my gems ive earned becuse microsoft decides to merge two programs. Every reward is basically out of stock becuse everyone rushing to spend
gems but the vault was not stocked better even tho it was known that this rush would come when gems become worthless in the change to microsoft rewards. Push this up to someone in your building who cares about people rather than saving a few bucks because

and while gems may not have a straight cash value 250 gems are redeemable for no less than $5 visa card or $5 worth of rewards points with other prizes worth more as listed on the rewards vault. In the swap to microsoft rewards these 250 gems are now 250
rewards points which does have a cash value as listed on the site 5000points converts to 5$. This means instead of the minimum 5$ for these 250gems im getting 25 cents. If you still dont see whats wrong here then i just lost faith in microsft as a customer
