Post gamertag change account troubles. Unable to redownload profile back onto 360 console.

Okay, here's the shortest way possible that I can explain. Soon after changing my gamertag I attempted to login into my 360 to play some of those great games that aren't currently backwards compatible, or for whatever reason I might
want to. But of course I would need to download my profile again due to the GT change. I thought it would be easy. But unfortunately going through the steps as normal didn't help. I deleted my profile with the old GT, cleared the system cache, and typed in
my info to initiate the download to get my profile back. I only got as far as typing in my password. It says the password I entered was incorrect. Now before anyone claims that is the reason and I should just reset my password and type in the correct one.
I've done all of the above. I was able to sign in at the website and everything, it's only
the 360 console/emulator that I can't get into with my new gamertag. To reiterate I've done all of the following tasks to attempt to fix it:

Deleted my old profile/gamertag from the 360 console and emulator.

Cleared the cache.

Hard reset both my Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles.

Reset my password and signed in on the website to assure that it's being imputed correctly.

Double checked all information.

If anyone can help me resolve this unnecessary issue. It would be appreciated as I really want to play my 360 again using my profile with its saves.

P.S. Apologies if this is overly detailed, usually it's not enough.

Hey, Paseek! Thanks for the reply. I'm still unsure exactly what you are seeing on your console. Does the Marketplace show as having no items as before? Are you unable to download things that you add to the queue via the website? Can you redeem any prepaid
codes you may have?

Before you check again, I'd like you to power cycle your console for 30 seconds. If you're still running into it, please

remove your profile ONLY and
redownload your profile.

Is it giving you any sort of error message when you try to sign in?

Make sure your password is less then 16 characters the 360 (including emulator on the ONE) does not like passwords longer then 16 characters.

to redownload your profile to the one pull up any 360 game and once it loads up hit the start and select button on the controller ( two small buttons on either side of the big xbox button) and it will bring up the 360 guide and will give you a choice to
download profile.

I bet your problem is that your password is longer then 16 characters

Hey there The 23 Freak!

Have you tried Removing and Redownloading your
Xbox Live profile from your Xbox 360 console? As long as you are currently able to log in with your new email address into Xbox Live and Xbox.com, removing and redownloading your profile is the best place to start.

If there is no parental controls involved, you can fix that by deleting your profile (profile only to keep your safed games)

support.xbox.com/.../delete-xbox-live-profile-from-xbox-360-console and after that redownloading it again.

support.xbox.com/.../download-your-xbox-live-profile-to-another-360-console

Can you give that a try and post back the results?

This is something that sometimes happens it is a simple fix you need to redownload your gamertag https://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/manage-gamertag-and-profile/add-remove-profile-xbox-360 here
is how to do that

it should fix this bug remove the account power cycle the console then redownload the account after switching it back on

Thank you for replying back. It will not prevent them from redownloading their profile back onto your console. As stated previously, the Passkey will only prevent them from accessing your profile, it will not prevent them from redownloading their profile
onto the console. There isn't a way for you to prevent them from redownloading the console, at least there isn't a security protocol to prevent them from doing so. You will have to just inform them not to redownload the profile back to your console.
