Post F9: The Fast Saga Event (Rocket League Wheels Code Not Received)

Hello,

I have a question which I wasn't able to find the option to specify the problem on Xbox Support, so I'll leave mine here in case to hear from other people with a different or relatable situation. Maybe even any moderators that can chime in.

On August 4th, I rented the movie F9: The Fast Saga. Both to watch the movie from my pc, and also to enter into the event being held where I was told that within 2 weeks I would receive a code to enter for Rocket League for exclusive wheels. Keeping in mind, I bought Rocket League on Steam on PC before it went exclusive to the Epic Games Store.

Well now it's September 3rd. I wasn't sure if maybe it took time or maybe it doesn't have to be within the 2 weeks but as long as I received one. I did ask Xbox over on Twitch just recently (savage_nerd2) and they mentioned about being qualified for it. I checked the link given and as far as I can tell, purchasing the movie was really all I had to do. I can't tell if there was another step or if I simply did not receive a code.

Any clarification would be appreciated since while I enjoyed the movie, it kinda sucks that I didn't also get the bonus code if I did qualify during the time frame of the event being held (which I believe was until August 11th.)

I searched about this event and found nothing saying that if you bought the movie you would get a code for the game. Could you tell me where you saw this?

The OP never said that a purchase was required. The OP also never stated that they would get a game code.

The promo involved renting F9 and recieving special wheels to use in Rocket League.

HomegrownSilky corrected me for the receiving wheels part. Remembering it now, I was suppose to receive the wheels from renting the movie, though it mentions a redemption code so I misread and thought I was getting it through that. To answer the question, I do not think I actually have my Microsoft account linked with my rocket league since I mainly use Steam and I only ever linked that with Twitch through this link: Rocket League Fan Rewards when I was watching RLCS for free fan rewards (which it sent through the linked account on steam onto the PC version). On the xbox app on PC, I linked my steam account with my microsoft account, but I don't think it actually linked my Rocket League account since I never logged onto RL through xbox. (Mooderingel is my gamertag on Xbox)

Any suggestions is appreciated and thanks for reaching out in advance.

Edit: I just went into the rocket league's epic games account linking and just linked the xbox account.
